The validity of the results is determined by calculating the Range, Rank, Mean, Median, Mode, Variance, and Standard Deviation of the test. This analysis should be used to determine the level of knowledge of each student and the level of difficulty of each question. After an analysis of the test results, a conclusion can then be made whether each test item should be retained, improved or removed from the unit syllabus.
